Find A DJ is a sister site to www.findaband.co.nz, which launched in February 2008.

I started the plans for the design and functionality of Findaband.co.nz in 2005, having performed at bars, weddings, birthdays, corporate events myself since 2002. I learned what clients were looking for from their performers and began to piece together the idea of offering a comprehensive service covering the entire country, with both live performers and DJs on offer, in every music style imaginable.

In September 2007, with the help of Ben and Jacko at The Craft Shop (www.thecraftshop.co.nz) and Mark at Tenvor (www.tenvor.co.nz), I began to put the wheels in motion for the creation of the Findaband.co.nz website. After five months of development, Findaband.co.nz was born.

In February 2008, we added a separate dedicated DJ site, Findadj.co.nz.

With this site, I aim to offer clients a booking service comprising a complete, comprehensive list of professional and semi-professional DJs throughout NZ.  From wedding DJs to club DJs, laptops to vinyl, it is my goal to showcase the best DJ talent from across NZ, putting clients in touch with the right DJ for their event.

Today, Findaband.co.nz and Findadj.co.nz offer the best selection of live entertainment and DJs in New Zealand.  A third site, Bands.co.nz, is planned for 2010.
